As we lay in bed last night, P and I started talking, as we do too little these days, as he’s been working crazy hours.
He poke-poke-poked me about my “rules,” and we somehow meandered upon a list of my weirdnesses, which are plentiful.
I have an odd affection for bathrooms aboard means of transportation: busses, airplaines, trains, RVs, etc. I have no idea where this stems...

Today I have pretty fab hair, but even that isn’t helping my dreary ‘tude. What a sad day - usually a fair amount of my mood is derived from my hair. I feel put-together, but stiff, with my hair properly straightened…natural and fresh when it’s in pretty ringlets…frazzled, restless, and a-put-together when those ringlets turn frizzlets (thanks, Wisconsin weather). ...

When I was 10-ish, my aunt started dating a guy with four kids. Two were grown, but the other two were closer to my age. He ended up getting full custody of the girl, but we only ever saw the boy VERY rarely - we’re talking the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas...
